You have reached the humble web presence of The Chakra Project, a free software showcase project created by a bunch of people who like Arch Linux and the K Desktop Environment.
In brief, we are doing a lot of stuff:
Chakra, a fast, user-friendly and extremely powerful Live CD and/or distrolet based on the award winning KDE (K Desktop Environment) and on the GNU/Linux distribution for connoisseurs: Arch Linux.
Currently in alpha stage, it features a graphical installer, automatic hardware configuration, and of course some more tools and extras.
Just try it if you like and tell us what you think.
KDEmod, a modular and tweaked package set of the K Desktop Environment - optimized for Arch Linux and coming with a lot of useful additions. Because we like the term "choice", we are providing both KDE3 and KDE4 packages in our repositories, and also a lot of extra stuff. Check it out here.
Tools, our growing collection of GUI tools for Arch/KDE, featuring a gui pacman/alpm frontend, a LiveCD installer and a system configuration utility.
With rolling releases, freshly cooked packages, our graphical tools and a small but strong and diverse community, this is the computing environment you may have been waiting for. Ours and Archs community-driven development is grounded in the concept of KISS, which has been proven to be superior for people who really want to learn something about Linux or dont want to deal with administrative overhead, or are just lazy nerds like ourselves...
